So far, a little hard talk has continued, so let’s talk a little softer around here.

I was stationed in Singapore between 1983 and 1989.  At that time, there was a reputed beauty in the food department of A company’s Jakarta branch in Indonesia.  She would be in her early twenties, tall and slender, and She was beautiful enough to be in a beauty pageant.

One day, she decided to visit Singapore on vacation, and her boss contacted me in advance to take care of her.   I met her several times when I was on business trips to Jakarta before, and I knew that She was an excellent employee so I was happy to accept it.

The picture was the one taken when we had dinner with one of my subordinates.  After that, we took her to a place like a club where we could drink a little.

On the floor, a lot of people were dancing and having fun. When I asked her if she should dance, she followed me obediently. But when we held hands and got into a dance position. to my surprise, she was quivering.  She said she had never danced with a man.

At that time, the bubble era of Japan was at its peak, and young Japanese women went out to discos around Roppongi and danced crazy every day with WANREN-BODYCON-MINISUKA(One-length, body-concious, miniskirts, these are young women’s fashion in 1980s). How naive and pure compared to those women.  I was honored to have been able to dance with a beautiful woman, but at the same time I remember being very impressed with her naivety.

If you say it like a novel、it might be like this. “Her brown skin shines moistly, and big black eyes invite a man’s heart to a fascinating world.” When I talked about this, all the male employees including the branch manager looked at me with envy.  It’s one of the good memories of my youth.
